What is digital and social media content production?
It is the making of video, stills and motion for paid and organic social channels. We develop concepts, scripts and storyboards, then produce the assets through shoots, AI production, animation and compositing. The work is versioned for the places it will run: vertical, square or landscape, with the captions and end frames each channel needs.
How much does social campaign content cost, and what affects the price?
We scope it from the brief. The main drivers are whether there is a new shoot, an AI workflow or existing footage to adapt; how many creative variations you want for paid social testing; how many formats and aspect ratios; and how many languages and markets the campaign covers.
Can you work with us on an ongoing content programme, not just one campaign?
Yes. Alongside single campaigns, we can work with your team on a continuing programme of social content. We plan creative development, shoots, AI production and adaptations around your publishing calendar, so the visual treatment stays consistent from one release to the next.
How long does it take to produce a social campaign?
It depends on the brief, whether there is a studio or location shoot, the amount of AI or motion work and the number of versions and languages. As one example of combined live action and generated work, the N-Dubz tour launch film went from contract to final in four weeks, delivered with social cutdowns and photography.
Can you combine live action, photography and AI in one campaign?
Yes. For Stella McCartney’s SS25 campaign we art-directed AI-generated birds and composited them with the campaign photography. For Blackhawk Network’s WhatsApp gifting campaign, one AI workflow produced character-led films, stills and paid social formats. GRIND’s campaign, from the PS / SEED Production portfolio, combined photographed coffee pods, handmade paper sets and stop-motion.
Can you work with our approved footage, photography or brand guidelines?
Yes. Send us approved footage and photography and we will extend it into social assets within your brand guidelines. For The Hoxton, Dublin, we developed existing hotel, room and restaurant photography into launch campaign videos for Meta. We check the source material and its usage rights first, then build the delivery list around your channels.
What should we include in a brief for a social campaign?
The campaign message, the audience, your brand guidelines and any photography or footage you want to use. Add the channels, whether the assets are for paid or organic use, the aspect ratios and languages you need and the launch date, so we can recommend the right way to produce it.
