FAQ

More about working with SEED
How much does a branded gaming experience cost, and what affects the price?

We scope every gaming project from the brief. The cost depends on the platform, the route (a world of your own, a pop-up, a racing course or a UGC release), how much custom gameplay and 3D art it needs, and whether trailers, campaign assets and support after launch are part of the plan.

How long does it take from brief to launch?

It depends on the platform, the size of the experience, the number of mini-games or mechanics, playtesting, platform publishing and your campaign date. A focused UGC release or pop-up is quicker to build and test than a story-led world with several chapters, such as e.l.f. Fortune Island.

Which platforms do you build on?

Our launched work so far is on Roblox and Fortnite. On Roblox, we built worlds for HUGO BOSS, BLACKPINK, TWICE and Eurovision; on Fortnite, adidas Hyperchase, Spotify Wrapped Realms and three NASCAR Rocket Racing courses. Our gaming team also opened a dedicated ZEPETO studio in February 2024, so we can plan for ZEPETO too.

Can we start small, with a pop-up or a UGC release?

Yes. You do not need to begin with a world of your own. We can scope a single activation, such as a pop-up or a release of avatar items, like the clothing and dance moves in Nicki Minaj’s Gag City shop on Roblox. Tell us the audience and the launch date and we will recommend where to begin.

How do you measure success and report on a gaming campaign?

We agree what success looks like and how it will be reported while planning, based on the campaign’s objectives and the data each platform makes available. Reporting is then scoped into the project alongside publishing and the launch plan.

Can you support and update the experience after launch?

Yes. A launch can be a single campaign moment or the start of an ongoing partnership. We can scope content updates, events, maintenance and campaign activity around your audience and marketing calendar.
